Our Mission
Heartlight...A residential counseling center for struggling teens that offers help and hope to parents and teens in a broken world.
Our Property
The Heartlight facility is second to none, nestled deep in the piney woods of East Texas near Longview about 3 hours east of Dallas.

Our counselors
Individual and group therapy by Heartlight's Master Level Counselors who work with both the teens and parents throughout their stay; ensuring a holistic approach that results in smoother and more successful transitions home.
"What makes this place really special is the tremendous amount of support and love that you feel in all the people here. It's in the faces of the young people who live with the kids. It's in the faces of the counselors, the administrators - they're all a part of this. It's a huge family and they do much to make you feel welcome into it as well."

Individual and self-paced learning for each teen with teachers that are effective in their approach, proven in their expertise, and dedicated to helping teens progress in their academics.
Accredited by Cognia utilizing a Texas Tech University and Park Cities CurriculuM
Our founder
Heartlight was founded by Mark Gregston, an accomplished author and host of the Parenting Today's Teens Radio program and Podcast.

Our program
Programmed activities that bring a smile back to a teen's face - rich in activity, utilizing horses, boating, exercise, rappelling, and planned events that engage residents with one another and build self-confidence.
